Campomaggi's canvas bags combine military-grade, water-resistant canvas body with vacchetta leather trim, and are then either stone-washed or dyed/distressed in its entirety to achieve that weathered look.
Can't get enough Campomaggi bags? Here is a fan favorite: an oversize canvas tote with the unmistakable Campomaggi logo. It comes with an adjustable, removable leather shoulder strap, so you can carry it in your hand or over your shoulder, even crossbody style. The leather and canvas are stone-washed to add that rugged, worn-in look.
Please note that because of the stone wash process, no two bags are exactly alike. The color tonality may be slightly different from what is pictured here, and it is normal for the leather parts to contain discolorations, scratches and creases.

Giuseppe Campani - 17th century optician and astronomer. His contemporary, Cassini, made many important discoveries using his lenses.
Happy Campomaggi handbag owner! The purpose for an oversized tote was for road trips and overnight visits, but have been using it as my everyday bag. I absolutely love it! Thank you, Marcopoloni for your excellent service.
Campani goes to market
- By Tom, Portsmouth NH
The Campani is a great shopper. I had to get fish but was expecting a text from my son who was on the Downs in Bristol UK with his 1-year old. So no problem! The pocket most accessible is just right for the smartphone. I dropped the shopping list into the bag and set out into a sunny morning. On the way to the shop, the text came through and the phone was retrieved without any struggle. The bag was plenty big for a wrapper of cod, 3 sweet onions, asparagus. . . . One more thing: the other pocket is quite roomy and can hold a range of things you may suddenly need on your shopping trip. I have several canvas bags by very good designers (Diesel, Orvis) and the Campani is simply more functional, roomier but also smarter in the design of the inner pockets. Such small details make a big difference.
