The leather used is 100% Italian full-grain leather - the finest quality - and the more you wear it, the more charm and personality it acquires. The fabrics and straps are all made of 100% environmentally-friendly cotton, adding to the timelessness of Marco's bags.

Who says a professional bag can't have character? This one is oozing with confidence and personality, yet it's elegant enough for even the most sophisticated workplace. The twist-lock closure makes opening and closing the bag effotless, and the removable cotton strap adds to its versatility.

A word of caution: this bag is intentionally made to be imperfect. It's been distressed and then distressed some more by a unique manufacturing process, resulting in a downright beaten, weathered, and non-uniform look. This PATENTED TREATMENT guarantees that no two bags are exactly alike. Because each "skin" is unique in the way it absorbs color, stretches and shrinks, each finished bag is distinct in its color, tonality, and texture. The resulting shape and size may also vary slightly.

I would love to tell people how much I adore my new Campomaggi Caboto Briefcase. I get compliments on the bag everywhere I go, and it matches with just about everything I wear, from a polo shirt and shorts, to a professional suit for an interview. It has a rugged look, so when it gets a few scratches on the leather from everyday use, it only looks even MORE beautiful and unique. I am a photographer, so I carry an expensive camera with me where ever I go, and it is very safe and secure inside the bag's sturdy leather. I can tell that if I take care of this bag, it will last me a very long time. I'm glad I choose this instead of an overpriced designer brand that only has a name and not quality construction.

I always let a bag sit before I use it on a daily basis. I’m just now using the briefcase and it’s fantastic. Two reasons among many: it hugs the body (doesn’t slap the thigh or waist), and it works well as a top loader. I have a small thermos and it tucks into the corner snugly; the leather molds around whatever is in the bag.
